I’m Davis Rideout

I’m a loving husband, dedicated father, and passionate educator and eLearning designer.

It’s difficult to overestimate the power of education and the role eLearning plays in building a more capable workforce or community. That’s why I love what I do!

For nearly 15 years I’ve served as an educator, director and designer for a variety of organizations in multiple sectors. Working with and leading a variety of teams, I’ve come to value the importance of clear communication and purposeful design.

My Background

Although I have a degree in anthropology and a master’s in teaching, I’ve been a artist for as long as I can remember with an eye for beauty and design. Working independently, I tend to be determined, organized, and productive, but I’ll never pass the opportunity to collaborate with creative and talented professionals on purpose driven projects.

Designing eLearning experiences taps into the creativity, strategy, and purpose that have always driven my work. As a teacher, I believe decisions must be rooted in data and guided by learning science principles. As an artist and designer, I will always strive to create immersive and impactful experiences that are both beautiful and intuitive.

More about me…

Work keeps me busy, but my heart belongs to my wife and two kids. I geek out with books on metaphysical theology and climate change, and twice a week, you’ll find me rock climbing with my daughter.

I never pass up a good (or terrible) dad joke, and bedtime stories are my time to shine—with an ever-growing collection of ridiculous accents and characters.

I believe life should be filled with love, humor, wonder, curiosity and growth; a belief that guides me professionally as much as it does personally.
